Adab Al-Rafidain uses a double-blind peer-reviewing system to ensure the quality of the publication. All manuscripts should be submitted through our online manuscript management system. The author should first register in our system and then submit their manuscript. We will use iThenticate to check similarities before sending them to external reviewers. We will notify corresponding authors about their manuscripts through our online system within one to two months. RADAB depends mostly on external reviewers in addition to the help introduced by internal reviewers. The research is submitted for publication in the journal according to the following steps:
1. The researcher has to enter the magazine platform, create a personal account, and then update his account by revising his profile.
2. The researcher submits the research through his own account, through the twelve fields related to raising research.
3. The research arrives on the platform. It is received by the journal's expert to conduct a preliminary study on it and determine the extent of his commitment to the conditions of publication of the journal. Then, he checks the research for similarity and plagiarism.
4.. If the researcher does not abide by the conditions of publication, the research will be returned to the researcher, and if the plagiarism rate is more than 20%, the research is also returned to the researcher to reduce the rate of plagiarism, and if the researcher solved what has been previously mentioned, the research is transferred to the editor-in-chief.
5. The editor-in-chief receives the research from the journal's expert, then he transfers it to the member of the editorial board who is closest to the topic of the research to conduct a preliminary study on it and select three referees for the research, then it is returned to the editor-in-chief.
6. The editor-in-chief sends the research to the peer reviewers nominated by the editorial board member, and a period of 15 days is given to review the research and determine the notes on it.
7. The peer reviewer shall review the research and locate the notes on it or in a separate file, then return it to the editor-in-chief according to the period allocated for that, which is 15 days.
8. The editor-in-chief receives the research, then it is transferred to the researcher to make the required adjustments, and then he uploads it back to the journal platform.
9. The editor-in-chief receives the amended research, and then it is referred to the peer reviewer for a second time to approve the adjustments. If the adjustments are approved, a notification is sent to the researcher of the necessity to pay the research fee.
10. After the review process is completed, the research is sent to the editor-in-chief to design the acceptance draft for the research publication.
11. The draft acceptance of publication arrives at the editor-in-chief, who works to bring out the acceptance in its final form and confirms the number and date of the editorial board session and the complete information about the research and the author/authors. Then, it is printed on paper, and the official copy is delivered to the researcher.
12. After submitting the fee for publishing the research, the researcher works to upload an electronic copy of the payment receipt to a platform in which he states his payment of the amount.
13. The editor-in-chief approves the payment of the amount and then transfers the research to the publisher, who works on receiving the research and placing it in the publication line according to its date. Then, the research is placed in the journal template to be submitted to the issue that will be issued for the journal.
